Riya Shrestha was born on 8th March Known simply as Riya Shrestha, is a Nepali Actress/ Dancer and a Social Worker. Born to father Laxmi Lal Shrestha and Mother Bina Devi Shrestha at Nepaljung, Bake in a middle class family. Riya is a single daughter to her family. She did her schooling from Kusumayashwor Secondary School and Joined Intermediate level at Padma Kanya Campus. Due to early demise of her father, her family went through hardship and had to carryout full responsibility on her head.
Where Riya Shrestha had to reconstruct and built her family financial condition and start searching for a job at early age. Riya Shrestha started her career as a model at the age of 17. She began her training on dance with renowned chorographer of Nepal Mr. Basanta Shrestha. After mastering basic skills on dance she joined ramp modeling to persue her dream as star and set her idol to renowned Actress of India Madhuri Dixit as her role model.
A multifaceted artist, Riya Shrestha has received lots of appreciation letter from the various organizers playing a vital role as a judge and guest performer. She has credited to several of Nepali Movie such as – “ Jangir”, “ Trishna “, “ Boss” , “Mero Aafno”, and “ The Hero Returns” as a leading role actress.
